Ella’s Baptism

When your 6-month-old goddaughter is being baptized and you’re an event planner, the pressure is on to make sure that baptism reception is perfect. Add on to that the mother of your goddaughter (and best friend!) lives in another state and has left all the decision-making power in your hands, it’s basically like the world is telling you that you better not screw it up! So, Nicole, Elizabeth, and I set off on making sure that Ella had a reception worthy of the tiny princess that she is.

Having already bought a reception outfit when I had visited Ella in August, we knew that we wanted to incorporate the colors of her outfit, white, green, peach, and pink. We picked a beautiful baptism invitation and ordered stickers that matched the same design.

Next, we headed to our favorite floral shop and worked with them to create an arrangement that matched the invitation and colors that had already been picked. The flowers were beautiful, and we knew we wanted something special for the vases. This wasn’t just any event, so we decided on custom vases.

We were almost done but we were missing party favors. We took small pink party favor boxes and made them a little fancier by customizing them for this event. Then we filled them with some chocolate kisses and a mini rosary.

Our final touches included beautiful plates and hand folded napkin sleeves that complimented the theme.

We truly loved planning this event for such a sweet baby girl. And I personally could not be more honored to be her godmother!
